Exercise Science Club

About

The mission of the Department of Exercise Science (EXSC) is to promote an environment of excellence and achievement in human health and performance. As part of its forward-thinking vision, EXSC will be used as a resource to train the next generation of scientists and practitioners in the latest techniques and technologies in the field. In addition to advancing the science, the department emphasizes the translation of this research for greater integration into practice and application. The Exercise Science Club exemplifies these goals to the best of our abilities within our meetings and events.

Many Public Health and Exercise Science majors are on a pre-professional track or plan on attending graduate school. Through a partnership with Kaplan Test Prep, you will gain exposure to the standardized tests which are required for these advanced degrees, including both the GRE and MCAT. This organization works closely with United Cerebral Palsy of SC to provide members with volunteer opportunities and community service experience. Beyond this, the club aims to provide ample professional speakers to provide insight and networking opportunities for the members of our club.
