Interfaith A to Z
About
Interfaith A to Z is a safe space where all religious, spiritual and nonreligious students can:
1) Develop respect for people who orient around religion differently,
2) Build mutually inspiring relationships, and
3) Engage in common action around issues of shared concern.
We are an organization where students of any religious, spiritual or nonreligious identity (or no identity) will feel welcome and wanted. At Interfaith A to Z, we believe religious diversity is a foundational strength of our society and can be mobilized to benefit the common good. Rather than working separately on issues that are important to many people of diverse identities, we believe we and our community are better when we act cooperatively across lines of religious difference for the common good.
Students in Interfaith A to Z will develop a deeper skillset to interact with people who see and experience the world differently than they do. This ability will empower them to make their campus, workplace and community more inclusive and collaborative.
Students will gain appreciative knowledge of diverse religious, spiritual and nonreligious identities. They will develop authentic, joyful relationships with their peers. Activities will include service projects, group dialogue, guest speakers, panels, and visits to diverse religious sites and services.
