Sigma Alpha Iota- International Music Fraternity
About
Sigma Alpha Iota is an international music fraternity whose mission is to encourage, nurture, and support the art of music. As an organization, we strive to support women from all walks of life and to further the development of music. Members of SAI are active in all areas of campus music and campus life, working closely with faculty, administration, campus and community groups, music professionals, and patrons. In addition to personal encouragement and support, members may receive scholarships, loans, and awards in many areas and at all levels of music-related study. Sigma Alpha Iota has long been recognized as a leader in the field of music and provides a lifetime of fraternity contact.
On campus at USC, sisters of the Theta Chi chapter can be found anywhere, not just in the school of music! We take pride in the fact that many sisters are not music majors. Whether we're singing at a nursing home or hosting a social event with our brother fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha, SAI is always looking for ways to promote music and music education in our community. We strive to create a supportive community of empowered women through music, sisterhood, and service while maintaining a professional and positive atmosphere. Service and music make up the heart of this fraternity, and we look forward to meeting new sisters this fall!
