Dance Marathon
About
University of South Carolina Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropic organization on USC's campus. We are a movement uniting our students, campus, and community to raise funds for Prisma Health Children's Hospital, our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events including our spring Main Event, which is traditionally a 14-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon that celebrates the culmination of a year’s worth of efforts to raise funds and awareness for our hospital.
In 2024, we celebrated our 26th year of USC Dance Marathon at our Main Event on February 24th at the Wellness and Fitness Center. The day was filled with fun activities like a Lip Sync Battle and Mr. USCDM Pageant, stories from our miracle families, and lots of dancing led by our hype squad, Morale. There is a recap video of our Main Event 2024 on our YouTube! We are overjoyed to say we raised $715,107 for Prisma Health Children's Hospital this year. We have raised over $9 million to help improve the lives of over 150,000 children across the state. USCDM will celebrate its 27th year in 2024-2025 and we hope you will join us.
